Axon Moore are working in an exclusive partnership with a successful and growing PE Backed business in Bolton to recruit a newly qualified Commercial Management Accountant.


Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts with relevant commentary
  • Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow budgeting and forecasting
  • Finance business partnering across senior stakeholders and budget holders
  • Monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Invoice reconciliations
  • Balance sheet and intercompany account reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly and ad hoc journals
  • Quarterly VAT Returns
  • Identifying sustainable cost saving targets and initiatives, profit improvements and revenue enhancements
  • Supporting with detailed revenue and profitability analysis, and identifying risks, opportunities and appropriate recommendations to the business
  • Perform monthly closing procedures in required time frame, including query resolution and variance analysis
  • Improve finance processes through automation and process improvement
  • Management of a team of
  • Ad hoc project work
