The Senior Firmware Engineer is responsible for end-to-end development of robust firmware and electronics systems.

We re looking for an experienced and confident operator who is keen to make a direct impact on projects ranging from code maintenance, feature enhancement, to new product development.

Your Responsibilities as a

Senior Firmware Engineer:
The development, implementation and maintenance of firmware solutions on microcontroller-based systems
End-to-end firmware and software development directly contributing to product development, product enhancement, sustaining production, regulatory compliance and validation testing
Thoroughly debugging and testing to deliver successful product acceptance
Impacting the design and build test-rigs, software and programs to support automated testing and validation
Generate, create and maintain effective documentations throughout firmware and software development
There is occasional travel requirements and this includes visits to factories, offices, customer locations and suppliers.
To apply for the role of Senior Firmware Engineer you will have the following background:

You hold a degree or higher qualification in the field of Electronics Engineering or a relevant field
Proficient in firmware programming using C and C++ and associated development toolchain such as STM Cube, Keil and MPLab to implement design effectively
Net programming languages such as C#, Visual Basic, Java and/or other object-oriented languages

Working as a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the success of the business objectives, the company pushes autonomy and innovation and there is plenty of scope for progression career advancement.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday (with an early finish on the Friday) and alongside a generous basic salary of between GBP50,000pa and GBP60,000pa the company offers several excellent benefits.
