    We are a growing company seeking to add the right candidate to join our rapidly increasing team, which provides leisure assurance and certification services across the United Kingdom and ROI.

    We are unique in the services that we provide to our clients and the core base is ever-growing which has led to our need to increase our team for the predicted growth we expect in the coming years. We operate in the leisure industry and provide services for our clients to prove their compliance and competence against the law, regulations, standards, and guidance for the diverse equipment they operate. We certify some of the most complex and significant leisure equipment in the UK through to the simplest. All require our clients to be competent to operate and maintain their equipment while also providing a register of independent competent inspection bodies to provide inspection services. We have a wealth of industry-specific knowledge to draw upon and we are seeking the right candidate with the right skill set to complement our growth and development.

    Our core mission revolves around assisting leisure-providing organisations who operate from a fixed site in ensuring their guests have the safest possible experience. We do this by ensuring we remain at the forefront of their legal duties and help them prove their competence to operate. One of the key control measures to proving competence is our operational assurance programme whose main function is the auditing and subsequent analysis of the audits of leisure providers.

    The Position

    As an experienced auditor, your role will involve managing the audit programme for inspection bodies and operators. This will involve conducting most of the operational audits that do not require industry-specific knowledge but can be completed after a degree of industry training which will be provided. There is a need to develop the processes and procedures within the quality management system along with the systems required to ensure the most efficient audit programme possible.

    There is a potential for some travel both UK and internationally as the role develops and could extend to trade shows and exhibitions as required.

    Upon selection, the successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to participate in our comprehensive 6-month onboarding program. During this period, you will gain a deep understanding of the entire LEAPS process and the other companies within the group. Throughout this journey, you will receive support from the general manager, company directors, associate consultants, and group support personnel to ensure a smooth and successful integration into our team and processes.

    Profile

    We are looking for an engaging auditor professional to join our community, based in the Ashby-de-la-Zouch region. We are particularly looking for a person with strong interpersonal skills who can interact with the different leisure operators that form our client base. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role within our dynamic team, leading the development of our auditing digital system and contributing to the development of our quality management. The successful candidate must be proficient in communicating effectively at the executive level.

    Key requirements

    • Must have a qualification in auditing or demonstrable experience
    • Chartership (or working towards) to a quality or auditing institution such as IIA or CQI would be preferable, but we will be happy to assist with this for the right person.
    • A strong knowledge of the process of auditing and the systems required to efficiently carry this out.
    • Have a knowledge and a drive to implement new systems to efficiently audit.
    • Have a good understanding of ISO 9001.
    • Knowledge of the application of the Health and Safety at Work Act, Health and Safety Guidance 175, BS EN 15567, BS EN 1176, and BS EN 23659 is desirable but not essential.
    • Proficient in the suite of Microsoft platforms for developing apps such as Power Apps or Power BI.
    • Proficiency in report writing.
    • Strong analytical skills for interpreting compliance/competence post audits.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Develop, support, and enhance the growth of the auditing capability.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
