    Description

    Due to rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced IT Technician to join our existing IT team based at our Head Office in Lymm, Cheshire. With more than 190+ settings, Kids Planet Day Nurseries provides the highest standard of nursery care and education within a unique environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, and interact with others.

    We're looking for some to assist with 1st/2nd line helpdesk requests and alongside device builds as requested. The role also requires the successful candidate to support our head office & nursery staff. Most IT support is carried out remotely from our Head office, but rare onsite visits to nursery sites may be required ad-hoc.

    Hybrid working option available following successful probation period.

    Responsibilities.

    To provide a confident level of IT support to group, the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of:

    Required -

    • Desktop Support
    • Laptop/PC builds
    • Android / iOS tablet & mobile phone deployments
    • Experience of helpdesk ticket systems
    • Microsoft Windows 10/11
    • Microsoft Office Support
    • Troubleshooting Printers & Internet connectivity
    • Microsoft Intune (MDM)
    • Microsoft Office365 SharePoint Administration & Support
    • Microsoft Entra (Azure AD & Security)
    • Windows Server 2019 Active Directory

    Desirable -

    • Network troubleshooting
    • Microsoft certified (Azure / O365 admin related)
    • ITIL4
    • Cyber Security

    The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to learn and progress their career and skills. They will also need good organisational skills, common sense and possess a full driving licence.

    Ensure that all systems are stable and secure supporting the group's users. Liaising with 3rd party suppliers to aid support of all sites. Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be required of your role. Adhering to IT procedures and checklists in place.

    Proven experience of supporting onsite & cloud systems, working as part of a team and ticket-based support desk.

    Evidence of strong inclusive team working approach with the ability to support & communicate with non-IT literate staff.

    IT Support Experience:

    • Required - 2 years minimum.
    • Desirable: 5+ years

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Microsoft qualification in Office365 / Azure / SharePoint / Windows 10 & 11

    Other Requirements:

    • Undertake DBS clearance & join DBS update service, if successful (provided)
    • Full driving license
