    General Role Description
    Supporting the General Manager (GM) and Business Development (BD) Manager with all commercial aspects of renewable energy (Battery Energy Storage Systems) development projects initially in UK (but expanding into EMEA.)

    Role Accountabilities:
    Commercial

    • Interact with external legal counsel during preparation of contract terms etc.
    • Assist the BD Manager in contract negotiations.
    • Negotiate project financing with potential investors.
    • Evaluate commercial proposals provided by investors and sub suppliers.
    • Preparing and evaluating project cash flow including the project IRR
    • Preparing and evaluating terms sheet proposed by investors.
    • Prepare a forecasted project P&L based on the revenue curve.

    Business Development

    • Building strong relationships with financial institutions and investors.
    • Assist the GM and BD Manager to develop sales/marketing materials related to project financing.
    • Preparation of commercial documentation for potential equity partners.
    • Assist the Project Manager with preparation of commercial quotations to sub-contractors and suppliers.

    Project Management

    • Coordinate with all stakeholders the financial, legal and commercial due diligence to being a project to financial close.
    • Assist the Project Manager to ensure client contractual commitments are met.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in finance or business management.
    • 4 years of experience in financial and project feasibility analysis.
    • Demonstrated experience of development of commercial contracts in the renewable energy markets.
    • Demonstrated experience in dealing and negotiating with financial institutions (investors).
    • Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts.
    • Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of the project development cycle in the renewal energy markets.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and an ERP.
    • Availability to travel in the UK and EU regions.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or finance.
