Puro Accountancy are delighted to be working with a reputable and growing accounting firm in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their team. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead audit engagements from planning to completion
• Supervise, mentor and train junior staff members
• Review and evaluate the work of junior staff members
• Interact with clients to assess their needs and deliver timely and effective solutions
• Prepare and review audit reports and financial statements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience in external audit
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
