Are you a great teacher who brings energy, enthusiasm, a sense of humour and a passion for teaching?

Oasis Academy Long Cross is a very special and exciting place to be. We are a two-form entry school, with a large Early Years Foundation Stage and a 35 place specialist resource base. In addition, we have our health colleagues and a Children's Centre onsite. Long Cross is a successful, caring, and ambitious academy where children and staff flourish. We have a highly skilled and passionate staff team who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of education and care for every child. We are fully committed to providing exceptional inclusive education at the heart of our community.

We are looking to recruit driven and enthusiastic experienced teachers to join us in September 2024. Due to relocation, we have two vacancies in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2 and can be flexible in phase allocation for the right person. Please state in your application which key stage/s you wish to be considered for.

    We are looking for:

  • An excellent classroom teacher with great interpersonal skills, uncompromisingly high expectations and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who will play a key role in our drive for continual improvement.
  • Someone who shows a passion for closing the gap for our disadvantaged children
  • An individual who is committed to their own continuing professional development with an up-to-date knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum, and behaviour management strategies.
  • The ability to deliver a cutting edge, tech-driven curriculum which will be given to you, and you will know how to adapt this to meet the needs of the children you teach using the computational analysis of data that our curriculum apps provide
  • Someone who is fully dedicated going above and beyond to fulfil our role in supporting community transformation
  • Oasis Academy Long Cross is forward-looking school, with inspirational children who are well-behaved and eager to learn. They demonstrate a real pride in our Academy.

We do encourage prospective applicants to book a visit to the academy with one of our leadership team to find out more about our curriculum approaches and what life is like for the children and staff at the academy. Please contact the academy office to arrange a visit by emailing or telephoning the school office.

Closing Date: Monday 22nd April 2024

Interviews: Week beginning 29th April 2024
