My client is a marketplace connecting investors with start ups looking for debt funding.

They have helped over 500 start ups across Europe raise 400 million euro in the last 2 years.

They need a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join their marketplace operations team and source, underwrite and monitor active investments in their marketplace.

You will:

• Analyse potential opportunities and risks associated with investments.
• Engage with the management team of the investments to better understand these businesses and to build an ongoing working relationship with them over the term of the financing and beyond.
• Produce key factsheets for the Platform Operations Team, including client reports, portfolio updates and cash flow projections.

You must have:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in an investment role, corporate finance, VC, Credit, financial analysis, risk management or accounting
• Strong business background, ideally from a business school or equivalent
• Ideally had experience in a start-up environment for a Fintech company with strong underwriting requirements
• Good communication skills, you should be able to speak with CEOs and CFOs of startups
• Business-oriented (not solely viewing finance through an accounting perspective)
