The Head of Operations position offers you an opportunity to lead the development of the core operational engine of our platform and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's infrastructure. We will invest actively in your training, coaching and career progression such that you can assume an increasing amount of responsibility over time.

Your role:

We are looking for a motivated person to join us in our London office to lead the Operations and Portfolio Management Team (team of 6). This is an exciting opportunity to shape the development of a core function in a growing Fintech. You will be part of the management team and lead financial operations assuming the following responsibilities:

• Ensuring the timely funding and completion of loans;

• Managing the relationship with partner banks;

• Overseeing the loan servicing (completion to redemption) and portfolio monitoring;

• Managing the flow of money into and out of client accounts, the accurate reconciliation of accounts including access approvals and others;

• Optimizing reporting to funding partners, stakeholders, or tax authorities;

• Management of the reporting of late payments, maturing loans, covenant management, insurance reports, and insure compliance of the loans with internal policies;

• Driving the technology investments to improve client experience, create operational leverage and support new products;

• Design and implement workflows across the Fiduciam infrastructure to streamline processes and operational leverage;

• Collaborating with other team heads to ensure efficient interaction between the teams;

• Actively driving the development and growth of the Loan Operations and Portfolio Management teams.

About you:

• You have an ability to lead and develop people;

• You have at least five years of experience developing processes and teams around payments, risk management or internal audit with a top tier firm;

• You are highly diligent and precise;

• You are highly organized, analytical, and results-focused;

• You are able to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;

• You are an excellent communicator; fluent in English; speaking another language (in particular Spanish, German, French or Dutch) is a plus;

• You are proficient in MS Office and other productivity IT tools.
