- Helping groups or individuals in our day centre may require our Leaning Facilitator to support the personal care needs of our clients. For instance, you may be assisting with eating and toileting.
- Help to design the educational content for our clients.
- Deliver educational and social sessions for groups or individuals, either in person or online.
- Use a variety of strategies to support positive communication and behaviours.
- Monitor client progress and use information to advance skills and development.
- Keep close to our customers and the people who support our customers, making sure they provide relevant, accurate information and scenarios when facilitating.
- Assist with our clients' personal hygiene, care, nutrition, hydration etc.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
- Act as a role model for our staff, reinforcing our standards.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Abilities and our policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other duties in line with the post.
- Must have SEN experience
- Creative and have a strong interest in teaching.
- Great interpersonal skills and be able to manage a staff team with confidence.
- Proactive with strong organisational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good standard of written and spoken English.
- Experience of working with clients in a special school / educational day support setting.
- Team player who supports colleagues and active and supportive team member.
- Wiling to go above and beyond to deliver excellence in support and customer service.
- Takes pride in doing quality work.
- Adequate IT skills and willing to learn
- Conversant with the Care Act, CQC regulations, Human Rights Act and other relevant legislation.

Become a SEN Learning Facilitator with a highly recommended provider of education, care and support services to young adults. It's a challenging time in education and care, but our clients need us to help them lead rewarding, independent lives and you can help.
Each of our clients has challenging needs and helping them is one of the most rewarding career choices one can make. As a Learning Facilitator your primary role will be to teach life skills to our clients. We have a day centre in Wembley, and we will also aim to deliver flexible online education and support sessions. You will engage in activities and courses for example teach a group to cook a meal or help an individual to organise a rewarding day. Your interest in our clients will help them to become more and more independent.
