    Are you a seasoned Structural Engineer looking to take your career to new heights?


    We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join a growing team as a Principal Structural Engineer based in Belfast.


    Our client has revealed plans for their Belfast office to increase significantly over the next 12 months- this includes a move into a new office space as the current headcount of 65 has outgrown the limits of the current office.


    The Belfast office collaborates with several other offices as they all work on a diverse range of projects across Northern Ireland and mainland UK such as Casement Park Stadium, Royal Victoria Hospital Energy Centre, Ballycastle Educational Campus to highlight a few.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead and manage the structural engineering team, providing guidance and technical expertise to clients and junior team members.
    Oversee the design and analysis of structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
    Take ownership of projects from conception through to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables within specified timeframes and budgets.
    Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
    Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional institution.
    Proven experience in leading structural engineering projects.
    Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Skills and Competencies:

    Proficient in structural analysis and design software.
    Familiarity with BIM processes.
    Strong project management skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
