Job Purpose:


The primary role of the Technical Lead(TechLead) will be to lead a team of technical professionals consisting of internal and external partner resources in the development and delivery of project solutions.

The Technical leads will oversee a team focused on software development, technical issue resolution, and delivery of the final solution.

The TechLead will work hand in hand with Product Managers to plan, roadmap and deliver on environment build-outs. You will be the interface between the development team and the product team.

The TechLead will support the creation and execution of business critical or complex technical solutions that meet user needs and improve business performance by providing technical analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting as part of a project development team.


Key Accountabilities:


Solution Development

  • Provides technical direction for the design, development, and systems integration from definition phase through implementation.
  • Applies knowledge of technology trends and developments to improve solution/service delivery for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reviews proposals for technology systems.
  • Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
  • Ensure the timely completion and approvals of product deliverables

Technical Effort Management

  • Creates and enables technical plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Keeps team members well informed of status and serves as liaison between both vendors and product portfolios.
  • Owns technology oversight and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout various products.
  • Identifies risks and plans mitigation action with the PM
  • Manages technical resources within budget and project schedules.
  • Consistently delivers highquality service to all stakeholders.

Experience Required:


  • Experience building out/standing up environments from an infrastructure perspective for delivery
  • Must have prior experience leading technical deliverables and/or teams.
  • Experience in a SDLC and/or Agile environment
  • Ability to influence and build relationships and demonstrate team leadership in all interactions.
  • Good communication skills. Communicates effectively with product team to identify needs and propose alternative solutions.
  • Must have handson developer knowledge and experience with JavaScript, Salesforce platform and Lightning Web components and integration technologies (eg Mulesoft, API's)
  • Demonstrable experience of working with digital experience platforms
  • Demonstrable experience of data handling, data quality standards and data migration approaches

More Information:

A competitive salary between £50,000 - £73,000 - dependent on capability.

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
