    Fundraising and Awareness Manager

    Post is open to women only under the Equality Act 2010, schedule 9, part 1

    37.5 Hours per week

    A permanent role

    Flexible working will be required, including weekend & evening work.

    JOB SUMMARY

    As a Fundraising and Awareness Manager, you will help Pathway to achieve our ambitious income targets. You will lead the drive to build new and maintain existing relationships and raise funds with supporters in the community.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    NVQ Level 5 or equivalent - Essential

    Safeguarding Level 4 - Desirable

    At least 2 years experience in Fundraising capacity

    DUTIES

    The list below describes the main responsibilities and duties of the role but is not a finite list. You will be required to carry out any other duties commensurate with this post.

    You will: -

    • Main Duties
    • Maximise fundraising and revenue opportunities through community engagement, including via social media.
    • Lead on publicity/awareness raising campaigns throughout the year which may include liaising with local districts and community safety partnerships etc.
    • Develop Business links to encourage fundraising from the business community.
    • Develop links into the local community for fundraising and events.
    • Lead publicity campaigns.
    • Research trusts and foundations and write targeted applications to support our work and achieve fundraising targets.
    • Use your passion and creativity to identify innovative ways to attract funding.
    • Give a range of talks and presentations to local organisations to increase awareness and support for Pathway.
    • Work with and help to recruit volunteers as necessary to enhance the capacity of the service.
    • Help to support volunteers/peer mentors in gaining experience and skills.
    • Participate in networking opportunities.
    • Keep appropriate IT records.
    • Manage donations.
    • Lead on standard merchandise production of items such as pens and other items, as well as hidden phone number items.
    • Be the primary point of contact for all marketing and promotional opportunities.
    • General
    • Act in a professional manner in a way that reflects Pathway's aims and values.
    • Ensure that all activities undertaken on behalf of Pathway are in line with the overall aims of the organisation and with policies and procedures.
    • To report any problems/difficulties/complaints to the Operations Director and to participate in any follow up work required.
    • Attend meetings where appropriate, both independently and alongside other colleagues.
    • Attend and make effective contributions to team meetings.
    • Provide information reports as required.
    • Ensure that the security of sensitive data is maintained and complies with the

    policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organisation.

    • Maintain timesheets and expenses as per the guidelines of the organisation.
    • Personal Development and Support
    • Attend monthly supervision meetings.
    • Attend team meetings where required.
    • Identify and attend appropriate training and other development events e.g.

    Conferences.

    • Attend other support sessions to be identified.

    • Report to Trustees as necessary.
    • Carry out any other duties that management and the Board of Trustees consider appropriate.
    • Hold a clean driving licence and have access to your own car.
    • Be required to work across Pathway sites as necessary.

    It is subject to completion of a six-month probationary period and will be periodically reviewed and, following consultation with the post holder, the duties may change or be developed subject to available funding and the needs of the service.
