About The Team:


The H&S Executive is responsible for supporting the H&S Lead in the implementation of the HelloFresh HSMS at our distribution centres.

This includes providing advice, information and instruction to support managers and employees as well as supporting H&Simprovements and initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy work environment across site.


What You Will Be Doing:


  • Conduct regular safety walks
  • Audit the implementation of the HelloFresh HSMS, issuing reports and recommendations for improvement to the UK Operations teams
  • Keep up to date with new HSE legislation and industry best practice
  • Support the UK Operations teams in delivering task and area risk assessments
  • Work with the H&S Leads on the delivery of ergonomic risk assessments across HelloFresh UK Operations
  • Work on the delivery COSHH assessments across HelloFresh UK Operations
  • General administration tasks related to the HSMS
  • Act as a point of contact for staff and management at a site level
  • Support site H&S meetings including site H&S committee meetings
  • Engage staff in safe practice, and review feedback from the team on how to improve
  • Advise site management team on safety processes, changes, accident investigation, best practice and all general safety enquiries
  • Promote strong internal culture and own employee happiness safety initiatives.
  • Liaise and communicate with the operations team on safety issues and improvements
  • Work closely with the HR and facilities teams to ensure H&S is being considered
  • Work with the teams in implementing the HelloFresh HSMS
  • Work closely with the H&S Manager and Operational teams to understand site issues and risks, and provide recommendations to improve
  • Seek to continually improve processes and identify areas of potential weaknesses
  • Support the introduction, and initiate health and safety campaigns, create a positive and proactive site attitude to safety
  • Ad ho c site based projects and initiatives based on business need

Who You Are:


  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office (word / excel / powerpoint)
  • Experience in a warehouse / food manufacturing / logistics environment
  • Minimum of 1 year Health & Safety experience
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate
  • Outgoing personality

Desired:

  • Experience in delivering H&S training
  • Experience in performing ergonomic risk assessments
  • Understanding of human factors
NEBOSH Diploma
