About the Company:


Our client is the leading supplier of fitted Kitchen and Bedroom furniture in the UK, for new build homes, holding 50% of the market share.

They supply major housebuilders such as Barratt and Taylor Wimpey, as well as private property developers of inner-cityhigh-rise projects and social housing providers, where a diverse product range and outstanding service sets our client apart.

They are now looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.


The role of Credit Controller will involve:

  • Controlling the collection of monies from Key and non-Key accounts
  • Chasing payment from Accounts Departments as well as Surveyors
  • Attending Microsoft Teams meetings with customers
  • Cash allocation
  • Credit checks
  • Account reconciliations
  • Collating paperwork for customer visits
  • Logging, resolving and clearing queries
  • Liaising with internal departments
  • Dealing with customers over the phone
  • Resolving complex pricing issues

Experience/skills required to fulfil the role of Credit Controller:

  • Experience in Credit Control
  • minimum of 12 months
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel
  • A keen eye for detail as accuracy is important
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A positive & flexible attitude
  • A reliable team player who is able to prioritise their workload
  • Communicate with people at all levels
  • Work under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Able to meet strict deadlines

  • Regular salary reviews
  • 30 days holiday per year including 8 statutory days increasing to 33 days after 6 years of employment
  • Hours of work Mon
  • Thurs 08:30 17:00 (45 minutes lunch)
Fri - 08:30 - 16:00 (1 hour lunch)
