This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual, to join our Colchester Hospital CT Department. You would become involved in enhancing the Radiology service.

Your duties will include assisting the staff with patient care, involving direct patient contact and assisting Radiology staff within the department.


You will also be expected to assist in maintaining a clean and safe workingenvironment and welcome patients to the department ensuring their well-being whilst in the department.

You must possess excellent communication and Information Technology skills, and be a good team player.

You will need to be able to work under your own initiative but with a high level of supervision and with good support.


Please be advised the working hours for this position will be shift based covering the period 8:00am to 10.00pm on a rotational basis.


To provide efficient, high quality support for patient attending the radiology department and Radiologist during all radiologic procedures and to carry out administration duties.

Assist the Radiology department with patient care. Use the Radiology Computer system CRIS and Medway to Book and change patient appointments.

Use CRIS to input information during Radiology examinations.

Also answer telephone queries.
