Support our students We are looking to hire casual Examinations Invigilators for various exam periods to help to supervise the conduct of students in examinations at Harris Academy Sutton.

Hours of work will be as notified in advance by the ExaminationsOfficer.

Main Areas of Responsibility
To support the Exams Officer with the day-to-day operation of examination venues


Activities may include:

  • Assisting with settingup examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures.
  • Checking attendance during examinations.
  • Recording details of late arrivals.
  • Collecting and collating scripts at the end of the examination in accordance with strict procedures.
  • Assisting with the preparation of script envelopes.
To assist Examinations Office staff with other examination processes


Activities may include:

  • Assisting with the packing of examination papers, stationery and equipment prior to the examinations and the delivery to and from venues as appropriate.
  • Assisting with the preparation of seating plans.

  • Physical fitness appropriate to tasks required (exam papers can be heavy in bulk, and there is a lot of walking involved)
