    MDE is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in sales within an energy consultancy or broker.

    The chosen candidate will be an advocate for the business, sustainability, and the wider sales team, bringing enthusiasm and resilience into their work.

    Lead the sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation, driving new business initiatives.
    Identify opportunities for new product/service development for business customers and contribute to their execution.

    Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while actively engaging in discussions on sustainability and Net Zero strategies.

    Strong understanding and experience in the business energy and sustainability sector.
    ~ Competent understanding of flexible procurement, risk management, compliance, and sustainability.
    ~ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in IT and business intelligence software.
