This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, professional individual to join an exciting, multi-professional team to develop and teach Business Admin Level 3 and Customer Service Level 2 programmes to groups of apprentices from across the NHS Trust.

As an NBT Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor you will be an educator, role model and Apprenticeship ambassador.

You'll be just as comfortable in the classroom, delivering lessons to groups as you are in providing 1:1 coaching, advice and guidance.

You'll also be a problem solver, sounding board and tech support advisor, but most importantly you'll be passionate about learning, development and supporting others to achieve

  • Under the direction of the Apprenticeship Lead, you will develop and deliver high quality, learner focused curriculums in Customer Service and Business Administration supporting Apprentices working at North Bristol NHS Trust and in our Partnership Organisations.
  • You will manage a caseload of Apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours towards achievement of an Apprenticeship standard.
  • You will assess workplace competence and performance, providing formative feedback and guidance as well setting and marking written assignments or workbased projects.
  • You will teach up to 5 days per month and meet with your Apprentices for progress reviews and 1:1 support every 48 weeks, actively involving managers/employers in the development of their Apprentices.
  • You will usually have the opportunity to work from home one day per week.

In order to be successful in the role of Trainer Assessor, you will need to:

  • Hold an Assessor Qualification (TAQA/CAVA, A1, D32, D33 or equivalent) (essential)
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification within a specified time scale (essential)
  • Hold at least a Level 2 (GCSE A-C / 94) qualification in Maths, English & ICT (essential)
  • Have knowledge or experience in project management in either the public or private sector
  • Have recent professional experience within workbased, vocational assessment
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills showing a flexible and professional attitude.
  • Be a highly selfmotivated, energetic and driven individual, with the ability to work flexibly and manage your own time.
  • Be able to build positive relationships with learners, displaying excellent communication, organisational skills and administrative skills
