We are currently recruiting for a
Behaviour Support Assistant to work with groups of pupils at a primary school in
Dudley. This is a full time, permanent position that will start from the Summer Term.


This role involves supporting hard to reach students who need support to access the mainstream classroom as well as being a positive role model for pupils.

You will be supporting pupils mainly in KS2 with some KS1 support.


Responsibilities:


  • Managing pupils in KS1-KS2 on a 1:1 and group basis
  • Providing excellent pastoral support
  • Providing regular feedback to the class teacher
  • Working closely with the school's behavioural lead
  • Creating resources which support learning
  • Following the school's behaviour policy

Requirements:


  • A relevant qualification in the field is desirable
  • Experience of working with SEN learners is desirable
  • Experience of delivering interventions is desirable
  • Have at least 1 years' experience working with vulnerable young people.
  • Natural ability to build rapport whilst being resilient
  • Able to deliver clear expectations

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£18,286.65-£21,576.14 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

- behaviour mentor: 1 year (preferred)

  • SEN: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
