    Job Description

    As a Fabric Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining our leading-edge status within the industry and building on our already stellar reputation with our customers.

    We are looking for someone who is committed to always ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, as well as being responsive and cooperative in achieving required tasks.

    As part of our cohesive working team, you will work towards providing an exceptional level of service to our clients, with a strong focus on customer care. You will have the chance to be creative and proactive in delivering an effective building fabrics service, while ensuring courteous and professional communication with our clients.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements
  • To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation
  • To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all building fabrics related issues, and help desk requests
  • Undertake follow up actions required to resolve situational circumstances for which you have been authorised to undertake
  • Be an active participant in reviewing existing and implementing new techniques to enhance the service to our Clients
  • Carry out minor installation work to the above services and systems
  • Carry out duties in accordance with company procedures and the clients' requirements in order to fulfil contractual obligations
  • Undertake any training that may be required to fulfil duties

    • Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience working in building maintenance preferably high-profile corporate environments
  • Requires excellent teamwork, ownership and customer service skills
  • Must have a "can do attitude" and will be expected to positively contribute to the performance of the team through excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use technology in support of carrying out duties and tasks
  • Health and Safety experience and awareness with IOSH qualifications desirable
  • Proven practical experience in property maintenance, small works and plumbing
  • A practical and methodical approach
  • Trade background, time served apprenticeship
  • City & Guilds, NVQ or similar qualifications
