_Supply Chain Administrator_

  • Wednesbury_
  • Permanent_
  • Hours of Work :09.00am till 5.00pm with 30 minutes lunch._
  • Salary and company benefits: £23k to £25K dependent on experience, 20 days holiday plus 8day statutory, free onsite parking, company pension._
  • We are working in partnership with our client who are offering this permanent opportunity in their busy and growing supply chain team._
  • Main duties:_
- _Create / Amend Purchase Orders_
- _Tie up inbound Containers with Purchase Orders_
- _Keep systems up to date with container arrival dates_
- _Report shortages / damages to suppliers ensuring that Debit Notes are raised / sent by Accounts._
- _Ensure POD's and Invoices are received per consignment_
- _Send booking forms for direct deliveries to relevant customers_
- _Consult with shipping agents / suppliers to ensure PO delivery dates are met_
- _Support Supply Chain and Purchasing with any other tasks as required_
- _Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role_
- _Related degree level qualifications preferred but not essential_
- _Good Excel and MS skills; ability to learn how to use new software packages_
- _Good written and verbal communication skills_
- _Ability to manage time well, prioritise tasks and work under own initiative_
- _Ability to work in a team_
