Are you a Speech and Language therapist looking to become a clinical leader in dysphagia with adults?

We have an excellent and rare opportunity for a clinical specialist post (band 8a WTE) leading the clinical delivery of dysphagia in adults for our integrated acute and community team in Ipswich and East Suffolk. We are looking for someone to lead the strategic development of the clinical service, to ensure we are offering evidence-based care to our populations. You will be responsible for the delivery of the videofluoroscopy and FEES service, as well as hold clinical caseloads in Ipswich Hospital and the community (dependent on service need), and offer consultative support to the team in relation to your specialist field.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking clinician, who is able to represent our service at a regional and national level, helping to shape services for adults with dysphagia. We anticipate that this will involve quality improvement, and research engagement. We would expect you to work closely with MDT colleagues, fostering positive relationships to build services for example, with gastroenterology and ENT. You will work closely with the professional lead for speech and language therapy, and will be required to deputise for the professional lead as required.
