    You will be joining the Financial Crime team which sits within a vibrant Group Risk function where you will have plenty of opportunity for career growt
    h and personal stretch.

    The team cover a range of tasks such as; providing financial crime guidance to the business, investigating suspicious activity, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

    We work closely with several teams across the Group ranging from the branch network - to gather further information on a customer interaction, to other teams in the Second Line of Defence.

    Searching through hundreds of records a day to separate genuine cases of financial crime from false readings.

    Once you've identified a risk, it will be up to you to take the appropriate action and make an accurate record of your findingsInvestigating the alerts our system generates when there's suspicious activity on our customer accountsAs part of the Financial Crime team, you'll assess those alerts to determine if the risk is real and take appropriate action if soThings move quickly in the Financial Crime team and sometimes you'll need to drop what you're doing and move seamlessly on to the next thing.

    One minute you'll be helping a branch manager check the authenticity of a customer's ID, the next you'll be responding to alerts from our transaction monitoring system.

    What Do We Need From You?You'll need to be comfortable with working under pressure, confident in the decisions you make, and be able to gather information and articulate it clearly, concisely and accurately to succeed in the role.

    Financial Crime is complex and there are constant changes in regulations, therefore you will need to be able keep up with these regulatory changes and trends.
