An opportunity has become available for a Photonics Test Engineer to join a growing quantum photonics company based in Sheffield.

As a Photonics Test Engineer you will have a number of responsibilities that include;Test and characterisation of quantum PICsAutomation of optical and photonic lab test equipmentEvaluation of photonics systems and componentsCreate, manage and analyse test plans and test dataTo be considered for the Photonics Test Engineer vacancy you must have:

A relevant Msc or PhD in Photonics/Electronics/Semiconductors/PhysicsPrior experience in a related experimental optics/photonics rolePython experience (for data analysis and test automation)Understanding of cryogenics/freespace opticsSponsorship isn't available for this role.
