As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining heavy plant equipment, including large cranes, motors, and inverter drives on a metal finishing site.
Perform preventive maintenance on cranes, motors, and inverter drives to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective repairs to minimize production interruptions.
Collaborate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities in coordination with production schedules.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an industrial setting, with a focus on cranes, motors, and inverter drives.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.17th editionFamiliarity with PLC systems and control panels.
Willingness to work night shifts on a regular development.
