    Summer Camp Group Leader Position in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

    Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:30

    Salary Range: £412.00 – £559.17 per week, with variations depending on age, experience, and qualifications

    Reporting to: Camp Senior Team, Area Manager, and Central Office

    Group Leader Responsibilities

    • Set up and maintain an inviting base room for children, ensuring cleanliness and organization
    • Follow safety policies to ensure children have a fun and secure environment
    • Adhere to the activity timetable to deliver a variety of sessions as promised
    • Collaborate with the staff team to run sessions
    • Provide active supervision and meet the needs of children throughout the day
    • Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities with enthusiasm
    • Encourage children's participation and individualize their camp experience
    • Take charge of general welfare and safety
    • Safely use equipment and ensure proper storage

    Requirements

    • Experience or qualifications in working with children
    • Minimum age of 18 at contract start date
    • Eligibility to work in the UK
    • Positive, organized, and communicative with good initiative
    • Ability to handle challenges in childcare settings
    • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
    • Participation in training events as required
    • Assistance with camp setup and pack up

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Ensure Health and Safety compliance
    • Organize appropriate activities for children
    • Promote and enforce good behavior and safety measures
    • Follow camp procedures and support colleagues
    • Act as a positive role model for children
    • Address Child Protection concerns promptly
    • Accommodate children with special needs or medical conditions
    • Assist with Skills Builder and swimming sessions when needed
    • Perform tasks as required by the organization
