Team Leader - Manufacturing Industry - Gloucester - Permanent opportunity - Double day shifts - 6am til 2pm and 2pm til 10pm - Early finish every Friday - £35,000 per annum - 34 days holiday, Pension, Income Protection and Private Healthcare

We have an opportunity for experienced Production Team Leader's to join our growing Client based in Gloucester on a permanent basis and are interview ASAP.

The shop floor has gone through a massive recruitment drive, now your team's need their Team Leaders

What does the role involve? Team Leading from Assembly, Machining or Press production area's;
Supervising your shift and distributing work sheets
Making sure Health and Safety is adhered to all l times
Induction of new starters and regular training of current team members
Make sure targets and quality of products are met and regularly reviewed throughout the shift and reporting and dealing with any issues
Logging production reports via computer
Making sure your team have enough materials to complete the task ahead
One to one training and development of operators
Managing time and attendance
Reporting any department issues to your line manager
Working alongside other departments to make sure things are done right
Making sure your area is tidy ready for the shift change over
Attending meetings to hand over and discuss any issues to resolve
Management training when required
Any other duties as requested

In order to be considered for this role;
Previous Manufacturing Supervisory or Team Leader experience
Strong communication skills
Able to lead a good example
Work with people on a one to one basis to help train on the job
Interest in developing people
Able to work to targets
Keep a calm attitude at all times
Good computer skills
Work well as part of a team

This role will require DBS & Security Clearance if successful.
