Position SummaryThe focus of this role is managing the test facilities and test activities to support medical device development at GCE's Portable Oxygen Concentrator innovation centre.
Immediate Performance Objectivesthat product validation activities are completed accurately to agreed test equipment and facilities are utilised efficiently and are well maintained.
The Big-Picture/Strategic Deliverables with the mechanical and electronic engineering managers to improve GCE's ability to accurately assess new products and engineering changes in a timely and cost-effective efficiency of validation testing and test laboratory throughput.
Primary Responsibilities and carrying out product testing to agreed procedures and validation plans and reporting the results.responsibility for the test lab, including equipment upkeep, calibration, and carried out follows health and safety peers at GCE's facility in India to coordinate validation activities.
Leadership & PerformanceThis role affords the opportunity to take ownership of validation and testing activities at GCE Haydock.outstanding candidate will demonstrate flexibility and a thoughtful approach to their responsibilities, working with engineering, quality and regulatory colleagues to deliver excellent products on time and on budget.
Career Development & Learning Opportunities role requires a good understanding of regulations relevant to medical device development, including ISO 13485, ISO 60601 and ISO Training will be provided as scope for this role to expand into a supervisory position with direct reports in due course.
