The team pride themselves on the integrated support offered by working alongside our in-house environmental and sustainability specialists, as well as our structural and mechanical engineers, to deliver commercially balanced, innovative and integrated solutions.

We are looking to appoint an acoustician into our Glasgow office to support project delivery in 2024 and beyond.

Non Infrastructure' category for Hinkley Point Power Station, for providing noise monitoring and expert advice during the offshore piling work, which has received a significant number of complaints from the local community.

Our advice contributed to managing the noise impacts with the local community and enabled the client to meet their programme without incurring substantial additional costs.

Working on acoustics projects which range from those of national significance to those which support local communities.

The projects would be varied, giving you the opportunity to work across sectors including residential, renewable energy, commercial and industrial, sports and leisure and infrastructure.

Undertaking noise and vibration surveys on a range of different sites and projects.

You will have the opportunity to lead small to medium scale projects, assist on larger schemes, and work collaboratively with others in the WSP acoustics team.

Work alongside our team of consultants and engineers to develop your skill set and progress your career, attending client and design team meetings, and contributing to the technical advancements and the success of the team through effective project delivery and developing key client relationships.

Experience in undertaking noise surveys and assessments
Hold a full UK driving licence
