We are currently looking for highly motivated, inspirational Healthcare Assistants to workwith, and assist midwives in delivering high quality, safe and effective care to women, babies, and their families throughout their maternity journey at Colchester Hospital.

The successful applicant will have strong communication and organizational skills.

You will have a strong ethos around delivering excellent standards of care and seek to improve patient safety; through ensuring stock/equipment/ward environment are maintained at a consistently high level of safety and clinical standards.


You will also be expected to report to Registered Midwives any patients who gives cause for concern or if there any changes in the patient's condition.

Part of your role will involve accurately documenting all care delivered to patients maintaining confidentiality at all times.

This role also involves supporting patients in Theatre and providing assistance to registered staff in Theatre as required.
