What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?


The Supplier Quality Executive - FMC,THP Cons, MO & liquids oversees & support the category supplier quality development on the quality programmes and collaborating to enable embedding the quality assurance framework and monitoring of procedures and product quality standards and performance for supplier quality management across FMC, THP Cons, MO & liquids categories, managing operational capabilities & readiness of our supply base end-to-end across our supply chain and quality management of our suppliers and third-party partners.

Support the Quality activities related to Suppliers Selection, qualification, and approval for FMC, THP Cons, MO & liquids suppliers ensuring capabilities are in place and enable supplier's development enabling the implementation of processes that support the selection of suppliers, development of supplier quality assurance and finished product quality standards through the entire product lifecycle and continual improvement programmes and initiatives toward improvement on consumer satisfaction, quality consistency, manufacturing efficiency & cost of quality.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the Quality management of the Suppliers Development Program, planning for Suppliers audits yearly programme (third party and BAT audits & assessments) by managing the development of new Suppliers and driving the capability framework of our current base.
  • Support and collaborate with Above market Quality, Procurement, Product, R&D and NC Operations to enable business input and make sure the part of the capability framework and relevant resources are allocated, delegated, and deployed.
  • Support the development and deployment of a fit for purpose Suppliers Qualification and Maintenance value driven programbased by defining high risk and opportunities suppliers and developing appropriate mitigation plans to ensure business continuity. Responsible for delivering the endtoend framework for Suppliers Quality Agreements.
  • Assist assessment and qualification of Supplier's capability based on audits & assessments conducted on site.
  • Contribute to promoting a continuous improvement culture within the Materials Supply base and amongst the BAT community through training, engagement and communication activities.
  • Support end market escalations with responsibility for overseeing effective quality management in factories and end markets; assist the delivery of activities related to Quality endtoend supplier & materials performance and suppliers capabilities development.
  • Support the deployment of Quality processes and tools that enable the organisation and our suppliers to ensure our products are fit for purpose, quality performance, consumer satisfaction and meet external regulations and internal/consumer quality standards.
  • Oversee key performance quality indicators, drive continuous improvements, and provide visibility to the business on improvement opportunities and design and manufacturing countermeasures.
  • Assist the supplier workstreams including supplier reporting, auditing programmes and continual improvement; Recognize findings and observations during evaluations and drive timely closure of NCs through the RCA & CAPA.
  • Coordinate and deliver reporting of information from manufacturing sites, DRBUs, EMs, and from external suppliers to key stakeholders by collaborating with the central category management and cross functional workstreams.
  • Assist the Quality aspect of our supplier Selection, Qualification, and approval in close collaboration with procurement and operations and manage thirdparty supply improvement activities and lead the development of the Supplier Quality Assurance framework.
  • Support the continuous improvement and development of the supplier base in line with the overall quality strategy and assess suppliers' capability in line with BAT supplier quality partnership and development strategy.
  • Contribute by sharing Quality guidance and support to Above Market Quality & Quality DRBus teams related to Suppliers and Materials Quality incidents and appropriate corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with Operations.
  • Assist all assigned Internal Audits for design controls, risk management, production, & process & product validation; Prepare comprehensive quality reports by collecting, interpreting, analysing, and summarizing data and recommendations.
