Become part of our Maintenance team at the brand-new ibis Styles London Gatwick Airport, opening soon We're on the hunt for a Maintenance Team Member to join us in getting our 182-room hotel off the ground.

You will be reporting to our Maintenance Manager and helping with the day-to-day maintenance of our brand-new hotel. We are looking for candidates with a some trade experience, such as painting, plumbing, or electrical work.

This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of £25,000.00, along with great benefits. The role entails a 40-hour workweek with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Undertaking DIY and maintenance projects while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Proactively repairing and refurbishing items in our guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintaining decorative finishes.
• Ensuring efficient functioning of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Taking pride in the hotel and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Being a valuable member of our team, providing a friendly and helpful presence to our guests.

Qualifications:

• Some recent, practical experience in trades such as electrical work, plumbing, building, or decorating.
