Location
Compass Wellbeing Head Office (Whitechapel, London) and travel within the M25 and to Luton & Bedfordshire will be required

Job Purpose


This role will support the CEO in the delivery of the organizational needs on strategic development, business development, stakeholder relations and support in the delivery of the organizational governance.

The role will be a full-time role with travel expectations to deliver the organizational needs.

The role will also have line management responsibilities for the commissioning, procurement and support of the as required in discussion with the CEO.

This role will have overall responsibility to deliver the strategy and relationship and support that the third sector receive through the line management of the team members delivering this function.


Job Profile

1.0 Organisational Strategy


1.1 Supporting and developing the strategy of the organisation, including it's values and vision, in line with the direction set by the CEO.

1.2 Developing the annual CIC statement on behalf of the CEO.

1.3 Sourcing and implementing strategic development opportunities for the CEO.

1.4 Developing and delivering a stakeholder strategy for the benefit of Compass Wellbeing.


2.0 Partnership Development
2.1 Developing the Compass Wellbeing brand and presence in the sector.

2.2 To provide strong, dynamic and strategic leadership for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisation development services.

2.3 Developing and delivering systems of assurance to the main shareholder ensuring close and good relationships are maintained.


2.4 To work with and effectively line manage staff to raise awareness of VCSE development services so they can promote and enhance diverse range of projects to their stakeholder groups.

2.5 Be responsible for the training, service procurement, support offered to the third sector by Compass Wellbeing CIC


3.0 Business Development


3.1 Translating the business plan into a business pipeline for Compass Wellbeing, delivering a revenue pipeline, ensuring financial viability and aligning with our values and vision.

3.2 Further developing our procurement, funding and tender processes to ensure efficiency and in line with procurement regulations.

3.3 Supporting in the contract management of existing and new contracts.

3.4 Delivering value for money both for the Commissioners and for Compass Wellbeing in the delivery of the operations.

3.5 Ensuring viability of Compass Wellbeing through the procurement of business pipelines.

3.6 Developing positive relationships with external stakeholders and being the main channel of communication regarding Compass Wellbeing.


4.0 Board Administration and Shareholder Assurance
4.1 Lead on the delivery of the corporate governance framework.


4.2 Responsibility for ensuring the compliance with Compass Wellbeing's articles of inceptions and the requirements under Companies House and CIC Regulations.

4.3 Development of Board and other reports on behalf of the CEO.


4.4 Developing a system of apprising the CEO of issues of delivery that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholder.
