Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.

What you'll do

As Design Engineer in UK Technology you will validate, design and plan/build secure and non secure customer solutions across the Vodafone UK network. You will play a critical role in delivery against our customer commitments, incorporating access planning, circuit writing, OLO & radio.

• You will ensure all work is completed to a professional standard on Vodafone's Management and Inventory systems.

• You will validate customers information and requirements to ensure all information is captured and reported back via local work instructions.

• You will complete design documentation to support the right first time delivery of Vodafone's customer orders.

• You will agree turnaround time and ensure they are adhered to for timely delivery of customer orders.

• You will ensure orders are planned using optimal delivery solutions, this includes technology used to maintain profit margin.

Who you are

• You will have experience a telecommunications environment and a clear understanding of technologies used to delivery customer solution (SDH, DWDM, IP, DSL, Voice)

• You will have experience with order and inventory applications such as Clarify, Cramer, MORI

• You will have a good ability to analyse and problem solve delivery solutions utilising network inventories and colleague support

• You will have clear and concise communications skills both verbal and written
