    You'll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO's partners to help businesses effectively.

    The purpose of this role is to assist with the monthly Management Accounts process and other ad-hoc financial reporting. Assist in the running and ensure timely distribution of financial reports for the business.
    Run Monthly Costs Analysis Reports & GL drill down reports for Strategic Business Units.
    Be responsible for the monthly payroll journal processing and reconciliations.

    Be responsible for a range of monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations within the team (examples are likely to include payroll, WIP, WIP expenses, accruals).

    Month end management of the balance sheet accruals, identifying risks and opportunities which can be actioned in a timely manner
    Handle and resolve complex management accounts queries.
    Assist in the implementation of key financial and reporting processes where necessary.
    Ensure Management Accounting processes are documented and review regularly.
    ACA/ACCA finalist or qualified
    Proven experience in a similar accounts function
    Analytical and numerical ability – able to analyse and interpret data
    Excellent planning and organising skills – able to manage multiple tasks effectively
    Experience with explaining financial information to people with less accounting knowledge.
    Attention to detail when producing data, reports, or other analysis
