The role:
As our client continue to grow their engineering team, they are now seeking an Electronic Design Engineer who will work throughout the full design life cycle developing cutting edge products for the global healthcare sector.
Their office is based in the north Birmingham area and they work to a 4 day week, giving everyone a long weekend.
The ideal Electronic Design Engineer will be joining a small, growing team with plenty of new product development to get stuck into straight away.
You will be experienced enough to manage your own time and workload and be expected to contribute from initial concept through to in house manufacturing and assembly done onsite.
You will be experienced designing both analogue and digital circuits, be strong with PCB design (Altium desired) and familiar with a host of serial protocols including RS485, UART, SPI, RS232, I2C, Ethernet etc.
This role will best suit an Electronic Design Engineer who is passionate about developing innovative solutions for a product range that improves people's lives.
You will be comfortable in a small team environment and enjoy the variety of work this style of working presents.
Skills and experience required:
Digital circuit design
PCB design and layout
ARM, STM32 Processors
UART, RS232, RS485, I2C, EthernetDesirable skills and experience:
Altium design package suite
Wireless protocols:
BLE, ZigBee, WiFi etc
