Sheet Metal Fabricator
Rate of pay:
£12 - £14 per hour (PAYE)
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday (days)
Venatu recruitment are happy to be working with a client who is a family run business that provides multi-discipline industrial services with over 30 years of experience, technical expertise, and industry knowledge.
Duties:
- Fabricate metal parts and components according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment for metalworking, such as saws, drills, grinders, and shears
- Use hand tools to shape, cut, and assemble metal pieces
- Weld or solder metal parts together to create a strong bond
- Perform basic math calculations to measure and mark metal materials accurately
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet the required specifications
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
Skills:
Capable of manufacturing and developing the following:
- Lobster backed bends
- Elbows
- Tee Pieces
- Reducers
- Square to round
- Vessel dome heads
- Valve boxes
- Flange boxes
