Job description
We are looking for a Wellbeing, Health and Safety expert to work across the business to provide advice, guidance, in wellbeing health and safety.
You will deliver specialist expertise across a range of WH&S programmes and projects to develop our organisational culture, ensuring the personal and professional development of people across NRW in line with our values.
This work will be part of the Wellbeing Health and Safety Strategy and interface with the workforce plan, the staff engagement plan and the leadership and development plan.
As part of a directorate facing teamwork with the directorate Executive Director(s) and their senior management teams to ensure our corporate strategies and plans are implemented.
Knowledge and experience of the following:
NEBOSH diploma level or equivalent.
and/or
Health and safety practitioner holding or working towards one of the following:
Chartered status with IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).
Chartered Member of the BPS (British Psychological Society).
CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health); or REHIS (Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland) with health and safety qualifications.
Fellow status with IIRSM (International Institute of Risk and Safety Management) with degree level qualifications.
Member or Fellow status with BOHS (British Occupational Hygiene Society) Faculty of Occupational Hygiene.
Registered Member or Fellow status with IEHF (Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors).
With
Extensive knowledge and experience of health and safety legislation and best practice.
