Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide positive activities for young people in various settings
  • Engage with young people in outreach settings
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of events and outings for young people
  • Build relationships with young people and their families to provide guidance and support
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a safe and inclusive environment for young people
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of youth participants

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish rapport with young people from diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of youth development and behaviour management techniques
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to actively listen to young people
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
