Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide positive activities for young people in various settings
- Engage with young people in outreach settings
- Assist with the planning and coordination of events and outings for young people
- Build relationships with young people and their families to provide guidance and support
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a safe and inclusive environment for young people
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of youth participants
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport with young people from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of youth development and behaviour management techniques
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to actively listen to young people
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
