Product Planning & Development Senior Specialist Rate: £38.58/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)Location: Whitley, Coventry & Gaydon, WarwickshireDivision: Business Strategy6 month initial contractThe OpportunityThe Market Launch team sit within Market & Business Operations and are an integral part of the wider Commercial team.Primary responsibilities include the development and management of the Launch Plan and Launch Readiness, incorporating Product Marketing, Pricing, Finance, Communications, Experience, PR, Sales and Customer Service within cross functional teams in order to exploit the full potential of the carlines for the business and the brand, leading to sustainable profitable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the Launch Lead to develop and execute the launch plan for all new models, replacement models and MY/ Mid Cycle refreshes following the Launch Planning process.Support in the delivery of launch detail in support of the Launch Planning Gateway deliverables.Support in communication of the Launch Plan across the organisation, ensuring consistency of execution.Support Launch Lead in creating Launch Management Meeting / New Model Launch Review inputs and representing commercial in these reviewsCreate close working relationships with colleagues from all key functions.Skills Required:Project ManagementHigh degree of competitor and market awareness.Team player who is able to develop strong relationships.Proficient with Microsoft Excel.Highly organised and structured.Thorough and capable of sustained attention to detail.A strategic thinker who can step back and see the bigger picture.Good analytical skills.Excellent communicator with good oral and written communication skills, capable of working with all levels of the organisation.If this contract Product Planning & Development Senior Specialist job in Coventry is of interest, please contact Jonathan Lee Recruitment today.Your CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
