CNC PROGRAMMER MILLER

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to work for our client who are located near to the South Elmsall area ,West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A CNC MILLER:

Manufacture of components to supplied CAD files and drawings.
This will encompass setting and operating multi-axis computer numerically controlled machining centre, it would be preferred but not essential if capable to manually setting and operating XYZ, Press Brake and other machines.
Whenever possible you will be required to set and operate more than one machine.
Maintain delivery of quality projects to scheduled department/Delivery dates.
Ensure material stocks are kept in line with company procedures.
Read, interpret, follow engineering drawings to manufacture precision parts.
Ensure parts are manufactured to desired tolerances as instructed.
Writing and proving programs for machines as required.
Knowledge of fanuc is desirable but not essential

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

Minimum 2 years' experience working within a precision manufacturing background
CNC Programming skills
Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

You will work shift rotating weekly

Days 6am – 2pm

Afters 2pm – 10pm

Nights may be required 10pm-6am

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of up to £16 per hour depending on experience.

All overtime after 40 hours is paid at x1.3
