DevOps Engineer | Up to £40,000 | TelfordJonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for what is a key IT company based in Telford.
As the DevOps Engineer, you'll create and build servers in an automated way to include monitoring; user management and version control as part of the project teams, and you'll be highly motivated with good attention to detail with strong customer orientation and commercial awareness along with good analytical and problem solving skills.
The ideal DevOps Engineer will build, create and maintain virtual servers, manage configuration across all servers and will have a strong understanding of continuous integration concepts for automation testing and deployments.
Centralising logging for applications, knowledge of version control systems to aid collaboration with an understanding of agile methodology is also important.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who has knowledge of automation of software development servers and can demonstrate an understanding of Linux OS.
A degree in a Computer Science related discipline is important, and you will have the ability to challenge existing practices and processes and present improvements.
Infrastructure management of new and existing servers : Terraform, Packer and Configuration Management : Puppet, Chef.An understanding of basic networking : The opportunity for further development and career progression is apparent and you will be supported by a highly skilled and dedicated team of experts.
