    The Role:

    The Home Office Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Strategy is central to the organisations transformation efforts. It sets the direction for how we will deliver better services and organise our technology and data estate more efficiently. Within this there are many programmes, one of which being the DSA, which this role falls under. Our Data Services and Analytics (DSA) technology programme is our centralised service that oversees and manages data analysis and insights. It ingests data from multiple federated data stores and uses its search tool, Entity Search, and matching engine to stitch together common data to provide insight. The role will be to proactively manage a project to implement a time sheeting system (Mazetime) across a Business Unit. This role is for an experienced project manager with good understanding of all the core aspects of project delivery, and experience managing IT-based (Software) projects.

    Responsibilities:

    Planning & managing the end-to-end implementation of a SaaS timesheet solution across DSA, working alongside and coordinating our supplier and internal resources.

    Project Plan & RAID management. (will be supported by our internal PSO resource).

    Managing any change to time, cost, quality or scope.

    Regular reporting and any escalations on project progress to the recharging lead and recharging steering group.

    Delivery of a trial with 50 to 100 users, trial to begin within the first 6 to 8 weeks.

    Lessons learned from the trial and any issues to be mitigated or resolved prior to full rollout.

    Development of a detailed phased implementation plan to deploy the MVP to approx ~950 users.

    Implementation of detailed phased implementation plan.

    Development & implementation of plans for potential additional releases beyond the MVP.

    Identifying the correct team within DSA to support the solution.

    Ensuring the correct incident management, support processes and supporting administrators are in place.

    Supporting the embedding of the solution within DSA.

    Delivery of MI reporting/dashboards and reports from the solution. (This may require some bespoke development through the supplier and some in-house PowerBI development).
