Introduction:

Our client is looking for a talented Risk Consultants to join their team in the Northwest, to work on a hybrid pattern of 2-3 days a week on site. They are happy to consider Project Controls/Project Management professionals who have been working on the risk side of projects.

Join our client's best in industry team to have the opportunity to work on high profile projects across a variety of sectors including defence.

Key responsibilities:

The main purpose of this role is to implement or support the implementation of an integrated risk management across a major capital programme or project within the defence sector.
Leading of risk commissions including the management of teams.
Identify, assess, and prioritise threats, opportunities and issues.
Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling.
Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against the remaining risk budget and schedule.
Work with the supply chain to assess contractor responsibility risks.
Produce and present fit for purpose risk reports.
Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule)
Present key risk findings to clients including assurance of supply chain risk management performance.

Skills & experience:

A working understanding of a developing and implementing integrated risk management solutions across portfolios, programmes and projects.
Risk and Scenario Analysis workshop facilitation
Strong understanding of Project Controls methodology and risk management interactions
Experience in a risk delivery role on major projects/programmes or blue chip companies
Familiarity with webbased database/reporting tools
ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, PowerBI
