IoT Engineer
Fixed Term Contract - 6 months + extensions
Hybrid - Onsite 3 days a week - Sunbury-On-Thames

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated IoT Engineer to join our dynamic Robotics team and contribute to innovative robotics solutions.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Proficiency in at least one of the following Cloud Technologies: Azure, AWS, or GCP (preferably GCP)
• Understanding of LoraWan, Lora, and/or Zigbee
• Familiarity with the IoT market and hands-on End to End IoT project experience
• Proven track record of delivering IoT and/or Robotics solutions from concept to implementation
• Knowledge of application and database architecture, networking, and security
• Experience with Raspberry Pi projects as a hobbyist
• Ability to create XML Config Files
• Understanding of Embedded software

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects and subject matter experts to develop an IoT and Robotics technical reference model
• Translate IoT and Robotics business objectives into architectural solutions
• Conduct vendor technology assessments and provide recommendations to design stakeholders
• Define solution architectures and ensure adherence during project execution
• Stay updated on emerging IoT and Robotics trends and technologies

The ideal candidate for this position will embrace a hybrid work model, spending 3 days a week onsite at the Sunbury Campus.
