What will my role look like?

Our Finance Fixed Assets team is growing and we have an exciting opportunity available for a Fixed Assets Analyst In this role you will be managing the group capital spending orders and ensuring all processes are running smoothly dealing with queries andpayments on a daily basis using mostly SAP accounting system.

Reporting to a Senior Fixed Assets Accountant you will gain the experience in managing budgets and processes first hand.

What would my main responsibilities be?

Creating and managing projects as requested to ensure all statuses and budgets are up to date and with relevant approvals
Understanding what defines capital expenditure and distinguishing between CAPEX and OPEX
Helping the Group Fixed Assets/Country Finance teams fix any queries when issuing purchase orders, including any asset issues and budget problems
Creating all assets so purchase orders can be raised in SAP ensuring all capital expenditure goes into the correct descriptions and g/l accounts
Journals to capitalise expenditure, working with the country accountants to process
Managing large projects processes and payments to ensure all is paid in a timely manner and seeing how to improve efficiency
Liaising with all management from various departments to make sure they understand our processes and what they need to do when purchasing an asset
Analysing the budgets to see what assets relate to certain purchase orders etc. to give an insight for the procurement team
Dealing with suppliers to update them on payments and sending over remittances
Ensuring all vendors are paid timely and accordingly to specified countries
Generating asset history sheets from SAP when requested by area managers etc
Management of assets; scraps & disposals
Running depreciation of fixed assets monthly
Conducting reviews of projects to capitalise assets/closure of projects
Assisting audits/dealing with audit queries
