    About The Role

    As a SIT Automation Engineer, you'll be working in a well-resourced hybrid environment. This is an extremely rewarding role working closely and collaboratively with a multi-disciplined team of engineers (mechanical, hardware, software, and logic). You will meet many opportunities for technical skill development as you overcome obstacles to deliver quality inkjet delivery products.

    You'll be joining an expanding company in a prime period of growth following our acquisition by Nano Dimensions. There will be opportunities to visit and contribute towards Nano products such as DragonFly IV.

    You will be directly responsible for assuring the quality of our Windows ASP.Net Server product that provides high-speed image processing and printhead electronics integration. You will develop automated test scripts to exercise system-level product behaviours and maintain the product's Continuous Regression system. Your testing will validate software and electronics components

    Your Day To Day...

    will start with an Agile Scrum meeting to align you with work deliverables and progress updates from other team members. You will then primarily write Python test automation scripts to expand product test coverage in the test suite. Manually exercise new features to identify how to automatically test them. Raised tickets against the product or product documentation and collaborate on getting product issues resolved by product developers. Your key product area is automation framework and test scripts for an ASP.Net server product that exercises REST API printhead drive electronics and advanced artwork/ document processing. Bi-Weekly you will reflect on the last Sprints actions and plan further work to extend the coverage of the test suite.

    • desire to learn about inkjet technology up to and including printed graphics, Direct to surface printing, and additive manufacturing systems.

    Essential for the position, you must possess:

    • academic background in science, technology, computer science, or appropriate Engineering Degree.
    • Attention to product detail, user interaction with a technical system, and quality of own work.

    It would be beneficial if you have:

    • an ISTQB Software Test Foundation Level or similar.
    • enthusiasm for technology.
    • of self-applied technological learning.
    • IT understanding and competence.
    • in an Agile environment.
    • testing network applications. (cloud, Local Network, IoT, e.t.c).
    • of industrial printing systems, or hardware to software integration testing.
    • handling and working with assembled Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
    • with Linux, Embedded Linux, and Windows Operating systems.
    • developing scripts or jobs for continuous integration tools. (e.g. Jenkins, Git pipelines.
    • software as part of a group, including usage of Revision control systems. (Git, SVN).
