ABOUT THE ROLE

You will act as an onsite engineer, supporting users on a regular basis and work closely with the outsourced IT providers technical leads, account managers and other tech teams to deliver an IT vision which future proofs the client's systems.

You will be employed by the client but will closely with the IT provider enabling you to use their systems and staff to provide a seamless support experience for the client.

As the individual on the ground, you will comfortable working directly with users tomeet all their support needs, whilst passing work to our third party provider where appropriate to ensure the best resolution for all.

The work is varied covering all areas of IT, Telephony & AV giving you great exposure to learn and develop.

YOUR BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

  • 24 years' experience in IT support roles, ideally within the legal industry or within an MSP
  • Knowledge of Office 365; experience supporting Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint & Teams
  • Proficient in supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11 and Mac
  • Experience in Windows Server, with an understanding of Active Directory Users & Computers
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts: DHCP, DNS, IP Addressing
  • Worked with office networks, switches and WiFi
  • Exposure to remote desktop working environments (Citrix, Remote Desktop)
  • Experience of MFA, Conditional Access, Microsoft Modern Desktop
  • Other desirable product set knowledge
  • Mimecast, Dropbox for Business, Legal Industry Line of business software
