This role offers:

The role will include:


  • Managing the purchase order system and ensuring this is ran smoothly
  • Ensuring correct validation and approval is gained before processing purchase order documents through Sage 50
  • Matching paperwork when invoices are received and ensuring prices and amounts are correct
  • Coding the relevant documents to correct cost coding
  • Assisting in the stock controls for inventory
  • Organising equipment hire for various sites
  • Following a new supplier process and setting up suppliers through Sage 50
  • Ensuring purchase accounts are kept accurately and up to date
  • Assisting with any needed changes to the purchase system, for example: streamlining or modernisation
  • Sage 50 experience
  • Knowledge of nominal codes
  • AAT level 2 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
